I can relate so much with this. I grew up in a small town in British Columbia and remember having big dreams of playing in the NHL, being a pro golfer, and then being a famous musician. None of those dreams came true, but I sure loved playing golf, hockey, and guitar. The biggest gift of all is being able to enjoy participation in what ever activity we love. As far as what we end up doing though, "life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans". I always say, "AIM HIGH" with passion. Then even if you don't make it to the so-called big time you are still soaring with eagles can see all other possibilities on the landscape for other new adventures. Like blogging!!! Yeah.
